Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience.
  • Follow instructions completely and successfully

  • Possesses common installation tools
  • Ability to pass background check

Responsibilities

  • Perform finish and trim carpentry work according to plans and specifications
  • Measure, cut, and install various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.
  • Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed
  • Collaborate with supervisors to complete projects
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fulfill requirements
  • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of materials needed
  • Fabricate lumber and other material according to measurements and specs
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment
  • Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite 
  • Willing to perform miscellaneous construction labor
  • Knowledge of other trade skills (electrical, plumbing, etc.) not required but is a plus
